Guitarist, composer, arranger and performer, Carlos Café has been working in the music business for forty years. Virtuous improviser has a unique style that combines technique and emotion in the exact measure.

A unique sounding guitarist is seen as a direct descendant of the style inaugurated by Celso Blues Boy, for also writing blues lyrics in Portuguese.

Blues found in Brazilian music, mainly in its rhythmic roots, a true and spontaneous affinity. This confluence created the sound of Carlos Café.

He also works with soundtracks and musical theater direction, as well as lessons and lectures on guitar.

It had its formation in Brazil (CIGAM and others) and in the USA (GIT – California). It developed its own methodology for teaching IMPROVISATION, which is applicable to any style and instrument.

CARLOS CAFÉ & OS MESTRES DO BLUES (1º CD)

On the debut CD, the musician made his own arrangements for blues classics. He also features four of his own compositions, which honor great musicians who influenced him, such as BB King, Johnny Winter, Albert Collins and Robert Johnson.

BAGAGEM CÓDIGO BLUES (2º CD)

It is a panel of his different musical and personal experiences with eight of his own compositions and three reinterpretations of significant classics in his career.

30 ANOS DE ESTRADA (DVD)

The DVD was recorded live in celebration of 30 Years dedicated to music. The event was held at the Artur da Távolla Music Reference Center in Rio de Janeiro and had the participation of special guests, who were part of this long trajectory: GUTO GOFFI (drummer of Barão Vermelho), RENATO ROCHA (guitarist of Detonautas ), FERNANDO PIMENTEL (Coverdose vocalist), PEDRO PERES, LUCIANO LOPES and JOÃO GRAVINA.
